Franklin David Osei

Franklin David Osei was a pediatric cardiologist at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Born in Accra, Ghana, Franklin came to the United States on a scholarship and never looked back. He was brilliant, methodical, and deeply compassionate — his patients and their families loved him. Outside of medicine, Franklin was a marathon runner, an amateur beekeeper, and the loudest fan at his son's soccer matches. He is survived by his wife Abena, son Kwame, daughter Ama, and colleagues who are still struggling to understand how someone so vital can simply be gone.
