"He lived 90 years and made each one count."

Biography

Harold Joseph Brennan was 90 years old when he passed peacefully at his home in Providence, Rhode Island. A World War II veteran, Harold returned from service to become a postal carrier — a route he walked for 32 years, knowing every family by name. He was a devoted Knights of Columbus member, a Little League coach for 20 years, and a man who believed firmly that a firm handshake and a kept promise were the measure of a man. Harold is survived by his five children, fourteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
